Salary : Negotiable depending upon ability.
Hours of work: 24-30 hours per week subject to discussion. Start and finish times by agreement.
Annual Leave: 4 weeks annual holiday plus statutory days (pro rata) plus Christmas period.


An administrator position has become available at Pittilla Bell Consulting due to a recent retirement. They will
undertake various administrative tasks ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently and
ensure smooth running of the office.

The typical tasks of the office administrator will include bookkeeping, communication, filing, printing, invoicing
and maintaining financial records and accounts

The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self
motivated and trustworthy with excellent communication skills


• Manage phone calls and correspondence (emails, letters, packages etc)
• Maintaining financial records and accounts for issue to Accountant
• Recording, tracking and paying incoming invoices. Issuing and tracking outgoing invoices including reminders
• Monthly analysis of staff/ project hours including producing reports highlighting time and cost analysis
• Printing, scanning and filing of office documents
• Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
• Ensuring that the Technical library is kept up to date recording and collating updated British Standards and Codes of Practice.
• Assist colleagues whenever necessary

• Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software
• Experience of compiling VAT returns will be advantagous
