It is a commercial fact of life that Clients must find the shortest, most cost efficient and smoothest path through the Design and Procurement process to arrive at the end result they need.

The art of Project Management is to find that path and successfully negotiate it from start to finish. The Project Manager must identify, understand and exert control over all of the often conflicting factors involved in the particular design and procurement process in question.

Objectives

Pittilla Bell work with Clients to understand and develop the brief, identifying the key criterion which the Client will use to judge the success of the Project and then develop a strategy to meet those objectives.

Feasibility

We can prepare initial feasibility studies complete with costings to allow Clients to check the commercial viability of potential Projects before proceeding. In any event the services we provide can be tailored to meet individual needs.

Programme

A Design and Procurement programme is established recognising key objectives and constraints, allowing progress to be measured and controlled against that programme.

Risk Management

The inherent risks within a Project and their potential consequences are identified, evaluated and discussed with the Client. Strategies are put in place to minimise these risks and their effects.

Value Engineering

Alternative Design and Procurement strategies are reviewed and agreed allowing the solution which best suits the Client to be implemented.

Documentation

Ensuring that As-built Information, Operating and Building Manuals and Health & Safety Files are handed over to the Client at Project completion.
