A simple view of Structural Engineering is that it involves designing and developing a support mechanism suitable to carry the weight of a Building, or another form of Construction, and the loads applied to it, safely to the ground.

The structure must resist imposed floor, roof and building services loads as well as wind and sometimes seismic forces, without succumbing to undue deflection or vibration.

This must be accomplished by striking a balance between on one hand strength, rigidity and safety and on the other hand, size, cost, speed, buildability and aesthetics.

Clear, concise and accurate computer-generated models and drawings are produced and checked, the purpose of which is to convey information in a transparent and readily understandable way for the benefit of all those involved in the Design and Construction of the Project.

Co-Ordination
Designs in the form of 3D computer generated building models are co-ordinated and integrated with the Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical requirements of the Project to provide the best overall end product and value for our Clients.

These models can be viewed in 3 dimensions so clients can more easily understand & appreciate the project as the design is developed and co-ordinated.
CDM
During the design phase, emphasis is placed upon achieving safe construction, operation, maintenance and ultimately demolition of the structure, as required by the Construction Design Management Statutory Regulations.
